It seems almost like a forgotten memory.
I don't remember how your lips felt when they kissed me.
And I've felt so cold since you haven't held me.

But I'm doing the right thing, they tell me;
Keeping my distance to heal the wounds.
It was you who stabbed me through the heart
With the poisoned blade of truth and lies.

And it is you who I long to be with.
With all that's left of my heart...

If it's to help you on the long term, it's worth it.

it seems the things that hurt us are the things that draw us in...

Will u love the "u" u hide if I but call your name?
Will u quell the fear inside and never b the same?
Will u use the faith uve found 2 reshape the world around,
thru my sight and touch and sound in u and u in me?
So true, it happens to a lot of people unfortunatley.

I like the change of tone in the last stanza to the others, which shows that even when people are hurt, they can't help but still love the person (even when they don't deserve it)

a lot of raw emotion in this. :) I like it

This is a well written poem, you can feel the emotion coming off it and it flows very well too. An excellent poem I think *two thumbs up*

I hope you get better. Very good poem though
Intense, and well-written. The emotion pretty much drips from every word.
