I wanted to kill him.   
We met back in high school and I didn’t really like him. He was loud and crude and said all the wrong things. Most people stayed clear of him, including me. He was a bad person and was never especially nice or compassionate to anyone. He was selfish and craved the attention and adoration of others.   
It was the summer of my sixteenth birthday that I passed him in the park. He stopped me for a chat. Reluctantly, I indulged him. We must have been talking for over an hour under that tree before I realised the time. I made my excuses and he let me go on the conditio Confessions

Midnight AttackIt was the creaky third step that woke me and immediately I was alert. No-one ever came up into my attic, ever.   
We had been living in this house for nearly six months. My parents had always wanted to move to the south of France and this was the year to make it happen. They found a small bungalow in a tiny rural village, thirty kilometres from the nearest major town. It wasn't finished yet, but my parents like to build and develop properties. Basically, we had moved to the middle of nowhere.

On A Dark And Stormy NightOn a dark and stormy night, an old woman rocked back and forth in her rocking chair in the old house on the hill. The chair creaked as it moved, back and forth. The wind howled around the turrets and through the empty hallways. The old woman drew her shawl around her shoulders tighter and moved the poker around in the dying fire. The rain hammered at the old roof, causing leaks in every room. The echo of the dripping could be heard throughout the house. Thunder rattled the house and the old woman hugged herself tighter.   
A cat ran into the large front room and curled up under the old woman's chair, staring back at the entrance to On A Dark And Stormy Night

Summer 09

I feel the need to update this space for no apparent reason. Its like someone reads it or something xP

I've been on holiday a lot this summer which has (again) hindered my "creativity" and I really hate that. I want to be able to write none stop and write good stuff. I hate what I do and I'm constantly trying to make it better at the moment. Hopefully some new ideas will come my way too. I'm getting sick of short stories D<

A Levels were pretty much a success. I can't really complain too much about them, and I'm off to York University in October. It's really scary actually. I guess I will use the next 6 weeks to writewritewriteediteditedit ;)
